The shooting here is quiet…
Each junior adman knows, that spots with kids and animals are doomed to success.
Artworks Film teammates would be almost agree.
Because they know from firsthand experience: there is nothing more disciplinary than charming, unpredictable and different God's creatures.
In October 2015 Artworks Film and Saatchi&Saatcchi agency shot a video about Pampers new charity project – “Buying one pack of Pampers, you give 1 diaper to an orphanage!”
Russian singer - Natalya Podolskaya, presented the project. She became brands ambassador.
As is often the case, even the spot looks easy – the shooting wasn’t the same.
At first we need to say that Pampers policy is really careful about all mother & baby relationships moments and about shooting. All the crews have to study big book called “Pampers with safety guides” and remember all the details. All other shooting except the main one was prohibited. There were an emergency, keeps watching for babies till the shooting day ends. And all the production crew were taking care of the babies also. So everyone respected Pampers safety guides.
Secondly it was an outstanding task – to make three babies sleeping, while camera is flying above their heads and lots of adult people doing something nearby. That’s why there was a theatrical silence on shooting. Everyone spoke in a whisper and walked on the tips of one's toes. But you will never make invisible flying camera, dolly sound, and stagehands shaking the curtain…
However, thanks to this shooting we learnt how to hear each other.
We invited back-ups for each of four babies. Although even that wasn’t enough to shoot sleeping scene with 3 kids. About 6 hours of shooting day were spent to lulling, headed by the director Natasha Demidova and 1AD – Svetlana Murashko. DOP Alexander Polishuk tenderly created private atmosphere of sunset. The author of the greatest Pampers lullaby - is a young and talented composer Alexander Kendysh.
